Tai Chi Easy Practice Leader Training: A 25-hour Certification

Utilizing a carefully developed method and approach to Tai Chi makes it easy, beneficial and fun --- right away. These techniques are simple to learn, easy to apply and need no special knowledge or training, require no special equipment or clothing and can be practiced by all people --- sick or well. The slow, flowing movements of Tai Chi have evidence-based health enhancing effects, including the areas of balance and falls prevention, cognitive performance, hypertension, pain, depression, muscle strength, COPD and osteoarthritis. Learn to help yourself and others improve sleep and boost immunity practicing a mindfulness-based stress-reduction system. In the new era of complementary and mind/body medicine, Tai Chi and Qigong are rapidly ascending to the status of wellness power tools.

Tai Chi Easy™ Practice Leader Training is a 25 hour certification that empowers motivated individuals to share the self-care practices of Qigong and Tai Chi in a widely diverse variety of environments. Many social service agencies, educational institutions and corporations are seeking this very type of wellness programming - including YMCAs, churches, spas, fitness, military and senior centers.  Anyone can learn to share the principles of tai chi, explain and demonstrate easy movements, and create practice sessions for any population. No prior experience is required. We find that the best practice leaders, teachers and practitioners have two qualities - enthusiasm and sincerity. Sharing Qigong and Tai Chi can be a part of creating and sustaining a personal practice.

This simple form of mind-body self-care focuses on:

Mindful Movements– gentle exercises that move, relax and stretch the body and increase balance and coordination.

Breathing practices– triggers the de-stressing effects of the Relaxation Response™, increases circulation and energy, and enhances the body’s natural healing process.

Self-applied massage– stimulates energy and circulation flow throughout the whole body.

Meditation– relaxes the body, centers the mind, and calms the emotions.

At a time when resources and funding are scarce, Tai Chi Easy™ is gaining popularity as an evidence-based and cost-effective health intervention that works for any population. It uses slow and careful movement without strain to strengthen the body’s own healing forces and is medically proven to:

Support disease prevention,

Accelerate healing,

Reduce stress,

Radically reduce medical costs – with little expense for large populations.

This self-applied health enhancement method costs nothing to utilize, causes no negative side effects, and may be used anytime and anywhere by anyone! Tai Chi Easy is suitable as a gentle physical rehabilitation, allowing you to stay seated, or even lying down, to receive the same benefits as from the walking forms.

The powerful but gentle moving meditations, Qigong and Tai Chi, are the health promotion components of Traditional Chinese Medicine - Asian Wellness for modern times. Our own culture is discovering that self-healing potential present in everyone. The wisdom of these ancient practices is diffusing into medical programs and institutions nationwide.

Spend a few hours experiencing qigong for the first time, or deepen your personal practice for self-care, stress mastery, and optimum well-being. Whether your focus is to heal yourself, serve others, merge with nature, maximize productivity, nourish intuition and creativity, or create inner peace, these 9 Phases are tools with extraordinary powers to release your potential.

Every form of moving meditation including tai chi, qigong, and yoga share a basis in essential empowerment principles. The greatest promise offered by the ancient mind-body practice of qigong is that we can heal our own pain and suffering. Refined for millennia, this Chinese meditative exercise system focuses on absorbing and cultivating life-force energies, combining body, breath, and mind-focused methods to enhance and harmonize qi (vital force). Those who practice qigong regularly often experience striking improvement in their energy and well-being.

Starting with the ancient Three Treasures and qi awareness, you can discover your natural inner power through the “Nine Phases of Cultivation and Mastery of Qi”, distilled from The Healing Promise of Qi: Creating Extraordinary Wellness Through Qigong and Tai Chi by Dr. Roger Jahnke
